About This Page

The process and products of jewelry design and production presents opportunities for more sustainable alternatives from source extraction and mining operations to distribution, design, cleaning, and reuse.  Much of the available information on environmental and social impact is focused on extraction phase but new resources are being developed that inform other stages of product lifecycle analysis.

It is not the intention of this resource to promote or endorse any one designer or source of information.
