A primer on finding what you need from the FIT Library

There are several helpful tools in the One Search menu. Click the right arrow to learn how you can use them to access additional library options and materials.

New Search

Click New Search to clear your search filters and begin a new search from the One Search home page.

Click Journals Search to locate and access print and online journals by title.

Databases

Click Databases to access online subscription databases, including our market research and trend forecasting services that are not covered by OneSearch.

Click on Research Guides to access guides curated by our librarians to assist with research, homework and navigating our collections

Citation Linker

Click on Citation Linker is you need to find a specific article in a specific magazine or journal. It can be used for finding specific editions of books ad issues of journals, too.

Click Library Home to exit OneSearch and return to the FIT Library's homepage.

The Journal Search searches all of our print and online periodicals. This includes magazines, newspapers, trade publications and scholarly journals.

How do I find related content?

Virtual Browse

When looking at a record of a resource located in the library, you can see related items by scrolling to the Virtual Browse section.  You can browse items "shelved" in the same subject area by clicking the left and right arrows.

Primo citation trails

Citation Trails

When looking at a record for a Peer Reviewed Article, you can find related articles by scrolling to the Citations section:

  • Click citing this to see a list of sources that cited the article.  
  • Click cited in this to see a list of sources cited within the article.
