Subject Terms Searching Our Collections

• KEYWORD searches are similar to Internet searches in that this type of search will look for the word(s) throughout the record, regardless of whether the word(s) are in a Title, Author, Subject, or Description field of the item record.
• SUBJECT searches however, only return results if the search term appears in the Subject field of the record.  You can find authorized subject terms by using this guide.
