Learn The Tools of the Trade with LinkedIn Learning

UX and UI Design work requires not only design skills, but also familiarity and comfort with state of the art design tools, such as Adobe InDesign, Figma, and Framer, to name just a few. Fortunately, FIT provides access to LinkedIn Learning for all students, faculty, and staff. LinkedIn Learning offers step-by-step video tutorials on UX and UI design skills, accessibility principles, and the top tools in use by UX and UI design professionals together with downloadable supplemental materials and exercises that you can use to build your portfolio.

Getting Started with Design Concepts

UX and UI Design are, at their heart, design, which makes it important that you have a foundational understanding of design concepts and principles when working in these fields. These works provide a great starting point for building that foundation.
