Instructional Design for Library Instruction

When we encounter references to instructional design in higher education, the models and processes are often explained in terms of how they would be applicable to semester-length couses or entire programs of study. However, there are a number of ways that instructional design  can be implemented for one-shot sessions and workshops. Some of these approaches are explored below.
