Search by Author [last name, first name] alone will show all items from the author including thesis and other books. Add the keyword "Theses" in an All Fields or Words in Subject search to limit the results accordingly.

Search by Department or Program [use quotes for a long name].
Examples: "Art Market" or "Fashion and Textile Studies"
Seeing the Results:
Click on the desired title to see the FIT Library Catalog record information [Title, Year, Description (pages and illustrations), Abstract, Subjects, Locations, etc..]
Click on the Other Copies? All items link to see the shelf Location, Call Number and active Web Link.
Click on the Web Link to see the electronic resource file and PDF. [current FIT username and password required]
Search for other institutions' theses by using WorldCatDisserations.
WorldCat Dissertations is a database of all dissertations and theses listed in WorldCat, a free to use index of a wide variety of resources, and the tools to help find which libraries hold them.
Non-FIT researchers might be able to access an electronic version through ProQuest's Dissertation & Theses database by way of another college or university library, or a public library.
FIT Theses prints are not available through Interlibrary loan.

In 2015, all existing FIT Theses were digitally scanned, converted to full-text electronic PDF files and indexed in the Dissertations & Theses @ Fashion Institute of Technology (ProQuest) database. The FIT Library holds these original print editions.
Going forward, all FIT Theses will be made electronically available via this database. The thesis details, call number and electronic resource file link may be found by searching for "FIT Thesis" in OneSearch (FIT Library Catalog) or the full-text database.
The FIT Library also has copies of related special topic theses from other world-wide programs.
