Newspapers: Finding online and print newspapers

Other ways to get newspaper articles you need

If you're looking for a specific article, try OneSearch.

  • The article may be available in one of the FIT Library databases;  if it isn't, you can also search the collections of other SUNY libraries and/or request that the article be sent to you digitally by Interlibrary Loan through OneSearch.

Interlibrary Loan and Other Libraries You Can Use

  • If you're looking for a specific article that the FIT Library doesn't have, try Interlibrary loan; it's *free and many requests can be sent digitally and quickly.
*Most libraries don't charge but if you're looking for something really hard-to-getit's possible that the library that owns it may charge for the service. We never process those loans without asking you first if you can or want to pay for it!
  • You cannot request an entire issue of a magazine or newspaper, and you must have the exact information for the article (author, title, publication name, date) for the request to go through.

If you want to search through a newspaper that isn't available through FIT Library's Journal Search or any of our individual databases, you can check if you can use it through another library, usually a public library in NYC or near where you are located.
