Welcome to  FIT! Your First Year Experience and Fashion Industry Fundamentals courses is a two-part first year experience class that covers the evolution of fashion and the relationships between fashion industry sectors. You begin to formulate a career path and understand the importance of "Brand You." Technology platforms and professional tools that are widely used in the industry are introduced to provide the skills for a successful college introduction to fashion business management. mr2022

Welcome to FIT ! The checklist below will help you get started with library resources. 

1. Required Course Book: Dynamics of Fashion

2. Register for accounts on FIT Library Databases (WWD Digital Daily, WGSN, and BoF).

3. Bookmark the Library website, a great place to begin research.

4. Schedule a One-on-One appointment with a librarian and ask for individual help or a tour of library resources.

5. Use the Ask The Library service to reach librarians and library staff by chat or email.

6. LinkedIn Learning, Access training tutorials via the MyFIT platform.

7. Visit our library and discover our amazing magazine collection.. 

8. Connect and explore our Social Media.

9. Explore our Special Collections & College Archives (SPARC).

10. Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request email delivery of journal articles and book chapters.
