This guide will help you get started with dance research using resources provided by the FIT Library and that are available online. The guide features access points for scholarly articles, performance recordings, artwork related to dance, and much, much more.

For any searchable resource the recommended search terms are: dance, ballet, modern dance, ballroom, tap, jazz, avant-garde, world dance, contemporary, hip-hop, or choreography. You can also search for specific dancers or choreographers in many of these resources.
