The APA manual has no official recommendation for how to reference a store visit. Here are a couple of suggestions based on how different departments at FIT do citations of store visits.
Format (Home Products):
Name of store. (date of visit). [In-store observation]. (City, State).
Bibliography Example:
RH Flagship Gallery. (2024, November 7). [In-store observation]. (New York City, NY).
In-Text Citation
(RH Flagship Gallery, 2024)
Format (Fashion Business Management):
Name of store (date of visit), Work. Address.
Example:
Chanel, (March 27, 2024). Chanel Spring 2024 Window Display. 15 E. 57th Street, NY, NY.
In-Text Citation:
Chanel, March 27, 2024
